STUDENT PROFILE
The student must have basic knowledge, abilities and attitudes, not only related to cytology and histology but also the fundaments and support of technological education. Among their main competences are the following:
- Have an ethical formation that allows him to practice his activity in an efficient and responsible way.
- Have technical and practical knowledge of research methodology.
- Have critical and analytical attitude that allows an optimal handling of materials and equipment.
- Be aware of the importance of the exercise of their career in the programs of epidemiological prevention programs and health promotion with the purpose of solving public health problems nationwide.
- as a team with their companions and other participants in diagnostic processes.
- Recognize the importance of continuous updating to be in accordance with the scientific and technological advancements.
GRADUATE PROFILE
Graduates of our program play an important social task because cervical carcinoma is one of the main health problems in our country and currently there are not enough people with the capacity to read vaginal cytology, which is a method of screening for its early detection. Likewise, they acquire basic knowledge in administration and operation of laboratories, research profile, elements which widen their work field.
